Hello, my name is Adriana! I am a first generation sophomore pursuing a major in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience and minoring in Linguistics. My research interests include neurolinguistics, particularly studies focusing on language acquisition in bilingual individuals, and how the brain interprets information when learning a new language. As someone who is a bilingual speaker, and comes from a Latin family, I have always been intrigued by the diversity that is language, and how much it can vary across different cultures and households. I spend my time volunteering with MentorGNV, and I am the Member Relations Director for UF’s Central American Latin Organization (CALOR). I strive to learn as much as possible working as an undergraduate RA with the BLaB in the hopes of conducting my own Neuroscience research in the future.
