My research focuses on language processing and bilingualism. The overarching goal of my work is to understand the neuro-cognitive bases of bilingualism and the earliest stages of second language acquisition.

I utilize behavioral, cognitive, and neuroimaging techniques such as event-related potentials (TFRs/ERPs), and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

I also understand bilingualism and second language learning in the OneHealth framework, and being a  part of the human health capital!
