Hello! I am a first-generation American student pursuing a bachelor's degree in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience with a minor in education studies while on the pre-med track. I grew up in an Argentinian household but was raised in Miami. With Spanish as my first language and English as my second, I have always easily swapped between the two. This combined with my interests in neuroscience, has always sparked my curiosity on how our brain manages bilingualism and its effects on our cognition. More specifically, what happens to us the moment we switch languages? I can’t wait to explore more of this field and am excited to be a part of this team!
