I am a second year undergraduate Linguistics major with minors in Anthropology and Urban and Regional Planning. I am most interested in studying the topics of multilingualism through the lens of various fields such as psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics, and as a heritage speaker of both Portuguese and Spanish, I am fascinated by the nuances of how multilingual speakers utilize their different languages. I joined the lab in Spring of 2022 and began by assisting in the many EEG experiments conducted in the lab. I am currently assisting in designing a project studying Spanish-English codeswitching with Dr. Edith Kaan.
