I am a third year psychology student on the cognitive and behavioral neuroscience track with a minor in linguistics. I started as a participant in a few of the studies that the BLaB was conducting because they combined my interests in neuroscience and linguistics. After being the subject, I wanted to learn more about what it was like on the other side as a researcher, especially when it came to EEG and neuroimaging studies. I am currently working with Dr. Rossi on a study investigating how global and local visual processing varies between speakers of different languages and I hope to start collecting resting state EEG recordings of monolinguals and bilinguals as soon as it is safe. In addition to BLaB, I work with Dr. Keil at the Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention (CSEA) and I am the Vice President of the UF Neuroscience Club.
