Hi! I’m a third-year student pursuing a major in Linguistics and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language at UF. I’m mainly interested in multilingualism and language acquisition. So far, I have worked with Dr. Kaan and Dr. Kheder on projects investigating topics like syntactic adaptation and code-switching. As an undergraduate researcher in BLaB, I love applying concepts I’ve studied in classes, gaining new skills, and learning more about how language works in the brain. When I’m not in class or in the lab, I’m probably brewing lattes or tending to my many houseplants.
