I am a third-year student at UF, majoring in Behavioral Cognitive Neuroscience and Linguistics! My primary interests are in bilingual studies and the effects of multilingualism on cognitive reserve, especially as a potential protective factor against age-related degeneration. I currently speak four languages, but I'm especially invested in making my native tongue, Kannada, more accessible for heritage speakers to reconnect with. Under Dr. Rossi, I'm currently working on the Global-Local Shifting Study, exploring how lexical transparency shapes encoding.
